Hello, I am Gregory Kennedy

Micro-Fractional CMO for the Startup ecosystem

What’s that?

I bring clarity to your marketing strategy and help you build traction without hiring a full-time army. I use an AI-first approach where we move fast, test, and iterate.

About Me

My career path looks suspiciously like someone playing career bingo with San Francisco tech startups. I've been the marketing brain at companies with names that sound impressive at dinner parties (InMobi, AdRoll, Sojern) and others that got acquired before anyone could pronounce them correctly.

After spending two decades convincing people to click on things, I created VIBE YOUR SAAS because I'm tired of seeing smart people burn endless cash on bad marketing that kills promising ideas.

Past roles and engagements

I am a former award-winning creative director and a 3x head of marketing with over 20 years of experience leading global marketing, content, product, brand, and communications strategies for Silicon Valley tech companies. I specialize in helping startups go from zero to scale.

I love to run, ride, and sometimes race bicycles. I also have been known to frequent the cafe and drink a lot of espresso.

 The back story:

Steve Jobs single-handedly changed my life. I worked on my first Macintosh 128 in school when I was 11. I went to Macintosh computer camp in the summer between 7th and 8th grade. Even though it was free, I was the only nerd who wanted to.

Fast forward to my late teens, and at my first graphic design internship, I got a reputation as the Mac guy. I was the only one in the entire firm who knew desktop publishing. Fun times.

My freelance graphic design business took off when I could finally afford to buy my own Mac, designing flyers for NY clubs in the ‘90s.

I coded a website on a Mac in 1997, and it was featured in a book listing the top 100 design websites in the world. This got me hired by a top design firm, where I worked on websites for MoMA and Tiffany & Co.

I moved to SF in 2004. I got a degree in marketing from U.C. Berkeley, had a startup that was acquired, worked for a unicorn, and continue to work with bleeding-edge startups, which remains my passion.

In 2024, I moved to Seattle and now drink more coffee than ever. ☕ ☕ ☕

Now I have my own live stream and podcast:
